Legend Control Button

The Legend Control Button opens the map's Layer Options and Map Symbols form, which is used to control the visibility of map layers in the Map Display, and to show an explanation of the symbols used on the map.

There are two types of changes you can make to the layers that are displayed.  You can change the Background Display of the map to show Generalized Zoning, Generalized Plan Land Use, or Schools w/500 Ft Buffer.  You can also turn various map layers on or off, such as Street Names, Buildings Lines, and House Numbers.  Map layers can be turned on or off individually, or in pre-defined groups called Special User Settings.

To turn map layers on or off individually:

Note: Some layers are not visible at all scales.  If you turn a layer on and still don't see it on the Map Display, you may need to zoom in or out in order to view that layer.
