The Identify Parcel Tool allows the user to click on a parcel or feature and display its related attribute information in a separate pop-up window identical to the Information Table in which information is displayed after a parcel is selected.
Note: Identifying a parcel is faster than selecting it, and does not cause the parcel to highlight. However, you can only generate reports for selected parcels, not identified parcels.
Step 1: Click on the Identify Parcel Tool to select it, the cursor will change to an arrow with the letter ”r;i” in it.
Step 2: Click on a
parcel in the Map Display.
The attributes of the identified parcel will be displayed in a separate
pop-up window. The identified parcel will be marked with an "i" symbol.
